New Release: DANGEROUSLY CHARMING by Deborah Blake #paranormal #fantasy

Hi! Deborah Blake and I became friends because we have an affinity for cats!  We support each other, especially in the challenging times of raising fur babies.  This isn't a challenging time but a celebratory time for Deborah with a new Baba Yaga novel release!  So I invited Deborah to come here and tell us about it.

Here's a message from Deborah!

“I loved writing my Baba Yaga series, paranormal romances based on an updated version of the Russian fairy tale witches. Those women were so much fun to follow on their adventures. This new book, Dangerously Charming, is a continuation of those tales, except that it features one of the Riders who were companions in the first books. Poor Mikhail Day, he has had a pretty tough time of it, and all he wants is to be left alone. Too bad the universe has something completely different in mind, in the form of Jenna, a woman on the run from an ancient fairy curse...and pregnant. I hope you’ll follow Mikhail and Jenna on their adventures too, and come to love this story as much as I do!”

Blurb:

From the author of the Baba Yaga novels, a brand new series set in the same “addicting”* world, filled with wild magic, enchanting damsels, and the irresistibly daring men who serve the Baba Yagas...

The Riders are three immortal brothers who protect the mythical Baba Yagas. But their time serving the witches has ended—and their new destinies are just beginning...

Ever since a near-fatal mistake stripped Mikhail Day and his brothers of their calling to be Riders, Day has hidden from his shame and his new, mortal life in a remote cabin in the Adirondack mountains. But when a desperate young woman appears on his doorstep, he cannot resist helping her—and cannot deny how strongly he’s drawn to her...

For generations, women in Jenna Quinlan’s family have been cursed to give up their first born child to the vengeful fairy Zilya. When Jenna finds herself unexpectedly pregnant, she is determined to break her family’s curse and keep her baby, even if it means teaming up with a mysterious and charismatic man with demons of his own...

To unravel the curse, Jenna and Day will have to travel deep into the Otherworld. But the biggest challenge of the journey might not be solving an ancient puzzle but learning to heal their own broken hearts...

***************

USA TODAY Bestselling Author Karen Rose Smith is an only child who delved into books at an early age. She learned about kindred spirits from Anne of Green Gables, solved mysteries with Nancy Drew and wished she could have been the rider on The Black Stallion. Yet even though she escaped often into story worlds, she had many aunts, uncles and cousins around her on weekends. Her sense of family and relationships began there. Maybe that's why families are a strong theme in her novels, whether mysteries or romances. Her 97th novel will be released in 2017.

Readers often ask her about her pastimes. She has herb, flowers and vegetable gardens that help her relax. In the winter, she cooks rather than gardens.  And year round she spends most of her time with her husband, as well as her four rescued cats who are her constant companions. They chase rainbows from sun catchers, reminding her life isn't all about work, awards and bestseller lists. Everyone needs that rainbow to chase.

Karen looks forward to interacting with readers. They can find her at the links below.
