Romances are delightful but there is something special about the people I meet in mysteries. They seem more down to earth and real sometimes. I especially love mysteries series so I can follow the characters. The book that started my addiction to reading was a mystery, The Red Trailer Mystery (Trixie Belden, #2)Jeanie Jacksonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15394668267369971186noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6861176667101359582.post-60446722606497078242015-03-19T17:55:00.039-07:002015-03-19T17:55:00.039-07:00I agree with all of your reasons. Since I was a little girl ( which was quite some time ago) I always liked to match wits with the detective to see if I can solve it before they do. Which I must confess I usually do. My family does not like to watch mystery movies with me because I usually have it figured out half way through and spoil it for them.<br />So I read.....Vernahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13797781770821816780noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6861176667101359582.post-56841830047533073812015-03-19T12:50:19.857-07:002015-03-19T12:50:19.857-07:00Definitely justice - I agree with you! Enjoy following the characters from one book to another. I love Castle and Sherlock. I love books and shows that are well written and intelligent-something that prods the old grey cells into action. I think mysteries make you also look at things from different perspectives as you dodge all the red herrings thrown your way.Kristine Skvarnanoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6861176667101359582.post-57503023427354209592015-03-19T07:34:18.447-07:002015-03-19T07:34:18.447-07:00Karen, I have really enjoyed your books and gettin...Karen, I have really enjoyed your books and getting to know you as a person on your Facebook group. Plus, I enjoy cozy mysteries because I can avoid graphic sex and violence, as well as bad language (especially the use of a certain four-letter word, that has become part of too many books).
